20 Reasons To Look Forward To Autumn

Summer has its perks; long days, warm evenings, vacation... But around this time every year, like a shallow couple, we start itching for change. Thanks for the ride summer, it was a sweet one, but let's just say 'it's not you, it's me' and I need AUTUMN!

Here's a list of the 20 things we are looking forward to most this Autumn!

1) Freshers week

Invented by universities to trick us into being excited for college this amazing week of banter and carnage is almost upon us!

2) The weather

On hot days I think we all realise we're not built for the summer heat! Bring on the low teens temperatures of a crisp autumn morning!

3) Time change

In a few weeks our early mornings will be rewarded with a lovely extra hour in bed - the clocks fall back and hour!

4) Hallowe'en

Only the best holiday going where you can dress up as a sexy anything, drink copious amounts of cider and get early onset diabetes from all the free sweets... Sound like heaven to anyone else?

5) Wooly jumpers

Time to bundle up and whip out the cable knit sweaters, no more bodycon dresses, autumn is comfort clothes and sweater weather!

6) Roasts

You've been watching you're weight all summer in fears another freak July hot spell might come along and your mates will force you in a bikini and off the 40 foot. That string butt floss bikini can now go die in your press and its time to work on the cloak of winter weight you'll need for the chilly months ahead.

There's nothing more beautiful than the changing leaves and the autumn night skies. Everything green is now golden, red and orange! Fall walks with hot chocolate are the perfect way to wind down from a wild summer.

Okay okay, it's still ages away, but Christmas is always on our minds and its never too early to start putting together that wish list!

17) Camping minus bugs

For those outdoorsy couples, now is the perfect time to climb a mountain and pitch a tent (or two...). Enjoy the warm day weather, minus the bugs and have an excuse to cozy up into one sleeping bag for warmth at night.
