21 Things Only Truly Competitive People Will Understand

Being competitive isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just depends on how extreme your competitiveness gets. We all need someone to challenge us, right? To push us to work harder than we've ever had to before. Everyone needs someone to make them understand the frustration of losing and having that loss rubbed in their faces for weeks after. I'm right, amn't I? Yes, I am, I'm always fucking right. Always.

1) Everything is a competition.
2) Second place trophies are used as toilet roll holders.
3) Not being naturally talented at something is your greatest flaw.
4) Naturally talented people are the worst.
5) Your safety net for losing any game is "Best out of three".

6) You guard your test paper like it's the Philosopher's Stone.

7) "Good effort" and "Maybe next time" are like stab wounds to the heart.
8) But you love using them smugly on other people when you've won.
9) Your friends hate having X-Box nights when you're around.
10) In fact, they haven't had an X-Box night for quite a while now...Or a scrabble night. Hmmmm.

18) Watching the Olympics opening ceremony is always emotional.
19) You will never agree to disagree because you know you're right.
20) Being the first onto the train after the gates open is always an achievement.
21) Your only "true friend" is the guy that hands you your first place medal.
