Now we finally know exactly how to bring those pesky boys to our yard.
In coincidence with National Milkshake Day musician Kelis has teamed up with Baileys to bring you her perfect milkshake recipe. National Milkshake Day which according to Google took place on the 20th of June (don't worry I didn't get the memo either), is an American phenomenon and I don't know what else there is to say about it other than it's about milkshakes.
A lot of you will remember Kelis' smash hit 'Milkshake' from the year 2003. For those of you whose minds are a bit foggy, I'll remind you of the chorus:
My milk shake brings all the boys to the yard,
And they're like,
Its better than yours,
Damn right its better than yours,
I can teach you, but I'd have to charge.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better wordsmith in 2003.
Of course the question remained what indeed was in Kelis' milkshake. Well, after 17 long years of waiting, the publics' curiosity has been quenched. Here's a list of what you'll need:

Just in case you are wary of taking culinary advice from an amateur, fear not, as it turns out Kelis is no mug when it comes to foo,d having cooked at the famed Le Cordon Bleu school. In 2014 She released a cookbook, My Life On A Plate and has also released her own range of sauces, Bounty & Full. Last year she even opened up a pop-up burger restaurant in London called KELISxBUN.
