While you might still be writing 2015 for the next few months on any exams papers, I can promise you that it is in fact 2016, meaning we're into another new year with another opportunity to feel incredibly old. It may feel as if some of these things graced our consciousness just the other day, but here's what's turning 10 this year that will give you granny-status feelings and major throwback vibes.
1. SOS by Rihanna
Yep, you read that right. Rihanna's single SOS came out 10 years ago already. It seems like only yesterday we were jamming out to her new and edgy sound, but Rihanna's got vet status now in the music biz.
2. She's The Man
Back before she went completely bonkers, Amanda Bynes was actually a pretty funny actress as you might recall from She's The Man. Based on our fave Shakespeare play Twelfth Night, we're gonna watch this one and have a good cry for the Amanda that she once was.

3. Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol
You might remember having a good cry to this one when you were younger, but 10 years ago? Say it isn't so! It's definitely made the rounds in the years though, but we'll never forget when they blasted it out in Grey's Anatomy.
4. Step Up
Back when Channing Tatum was pretty hot (now he's extremely hot) there was Step Up, our favourite guilty pleasure movie to watch on a girls night in. Since Step Up, Channing and co-star Jenna Dewan have gotten married, and we can't even be jealous because they're so adorable together.

5. Back to Black by Amy Winehouse
It's a bit hard to believe that Amy Winehouse's second album, Back to Black, came out 10 years ago already. The lyrics have gained such poignancy since Amy's passing five years ago.
6. The Devil Wears Prada
Ah, Meryl. Undoubtedly one of her best roles of the 2000s, we can't believe that this one is already 10 years old. I guess time really flies even when you're watching this at least once a month.

7. Hannah Montana
With the show premiering 10 years ago, our girl Hannah (played by Miley Cyrus) is all grown up now with tattoos, a shorter haircut, and a no fucks given attitude. Some memorable moments since the show? The MTV Video Music Awards are a pretty good example of the, erm, new and improved Miley.

8. Marie Antoinette
A classic from Sophia Coppola and starring Kirsten Dunst, this used to be our go-to for a movie night. A bit hard to believe it's already been out 10 years.
9. Fergalicious by Fergie
To the D, to the E, to the L-I-C-I-O-U-S is going to be stuck in our heads all day after giving this one a re-listen. And after watching the video for old time's sake, more than anything we're just hungry for some sweets.
10. Dreamgirls

One of our favourite soundtracks to belt out in the car, we officially feel old with this one turning 10. I mean, Beyoncé still looks as flawless as she did in this, has she even aged? We know we have.
11. High School Musical
What team? Wildcats, of course! The High School Musical crew had a cast reunion (minus Zac Efron, noooo) this week, and we've got to say that this is truly what dreams are made of.
12. SexyBack by Justin Timberlake

After he'd shorn his beautiful Ramen-esque locks and gone solo, we got SexyBack. It was a new side of Justin we hadn't seen before, and yes, we'd definitely have to say he brought sexy back.
13. Smile by Lily Allen
Back when chopsticks in your hair and bright eyeshadows were the biggest thing we could do to be like celebrities, we got Smile by Lily Allen. Sitting at home and getting angry at an ex-boyfriend we didn't actually have, Lily Allen made us feel sassy and kick-ass (and still does, let's be honest).
14. Twitter
Of all the things on this list, this one surprises us the most. 10 years of Twitter this year?! We feel like we've barely just gotten into it. But, you can see the proof in the first tweet from co-founder Jack Dorsey: "just setting up my twttr" so iconic.
