Daniel O'Donnell Superfan Charged Over Her Involvement In Cocaine Factory

This isn't a joke.

Molly Sloan (25) became an internet sensation after a video of her reacting to Daniel O'Donnell on The Late Late Show went viral. Now the superfan has been charged over her involvement in a cocaine factory in Cork.

Sloan appeared on the Valentine's day special of The Late Late Show in 2016 and viewers were captivated when her face switched from utter delight to sheer horror when she realised it wasn't Daniel singing but comedian Mario Rosenstock.  Here's the full video of Sloyan's reaction to the fake Irish lothario:

The Donegal singer saw the clip and invited Sloyan to meet him at his sold-out Killarney INEC concert in 2016.

Sloan was amongst four people charged after Garda raided an extraction cocaine factory in Drumleigh, Bantry. All four defendants, three men, and one woman, appeared before Bandon District Court yesterday and face two charges each: possession of cocaine for sale or supply contrary to two sections of the Misuse of Drugs Act. The defendants included three men with Dublin addresses - Sean McManus (36) from Baldoyle and William and Dean Gilsenan from Clondalkin.

Gardai recovered over €70,000 worth of cocaine that was soaked into clothing imported from Brazil. The cocaine was extracted from the clothing in what Gardai believe was a sophisticated operation. The court was told that a chemical called Isopropranol was being used in special vats to extract cocaine from cloth which had been imported from South America. One kilo of cocaine was recovered from the premises.

A book of evidence will now be prepared which will include a video explaining how the cocaine is extracted from the clothing and the matter will be dealt with by Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
