Facebook To Combat 'Fake News' With A System Controlled By You

Unless you've been living under a rock you will have heard the term 'fake news' on a daily basis. In reality, we're leaving in a post-truth world where media outlets are questioned for their ability to share 'real' news.

The Facebook News Feed has been blamed as the biggest culprit for spreading fake news and now Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has introduced a concept to change this. From next week onwards Facebook users will be asked if they trust what they are reading and seeing on their newsfeed. The source will be ranked according to your feedback.

The less trusted will be slowly removed from our feeds. Zuckerberg wants the news we are seeing to be true.
