5 Shows You Need To Add To The Binge Watch Bucket List

1. Sharp Objects

A show being hailed as the next Big Little Lies, Sharp Objects stars Amy Adams as Camille Preaker, a reporter who returns to her hometown to cover the murder of two teenage girls. By the producers of Get Out and written by the writer of Gone Girl, Gillian Flynn, this is one show you don't want to sit on.

2. Pose

When it comes to television, Ryan Murphy's a never-ending machine. Not only does Ryan work on American Horror Story, American Crime Story and Feud, he is now involved with Pose as well as creating two new shows for Netflix.

Pose is set in '80s New York and has been credited with hiring the most trans* actors on a scripted show in history. A lead character and AHS, Evan Peters stars as a man who works in Trump Tower with the show focusing on a clash of worlds between downtown New York, ball culture (think RuPaul's Drag Race) and corporate America.

3. The Terror

Its been a while since a horror show gripped our imagination and that's about to change. Set in freezing temperatures, The Terror is set in the 19th century and tracks the failed expedition of John Franklin, the men who try to survive it and a malevolent presence that hunts survivors - spoiler alert: it's not the cold.

Directed by Ridley Scott, The Terror has a score of over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and includes familiar faces from blockbusters like Game Of Thrones and The Crown.

4. Atlanta

Donald Glover is the name on everyone's lips in 2018. Not only did he star as Troy in Community, he is, in fact, musical legend Childish Gambino - still a revelation for so many.

In between being a prodigy and acting, Glover had time to write and direct Atlanta; a struggling man tries to reconnect with his girlfriend and ride on the coattails of his famous cousin. The show began in 2016 and is already on its third season. The perfect comedy-drama, each episode is less than a half an hour long.

5. The Bold Type

If you're missing Gossip Girl, Girls or Sex and the City then The Bold Type could be the antidote you've been looking for. Set in NYC, as all TV shows about female friendships usually are, the show highlights the struggles of three best friends working for Cosmopolitan magazine. Not as visually stunning as The Terror or as conflicting as Sharp Objects, The Bold Type is the perfect binge watch.
