Amy Schumer Nails What It Means To Be 'Plus Sized' In Hollywood At The Critics Choice Awards

Amy Schumer won the MVP award at this weekend's Critics Choice Awards and used her speech to make a point about her image.

"I am plus-plus-size actress Amy Schumer," was the first thing she uttered once on stage. While in Hollywood terms, Schumer may be considered 'plus-size,' in the real world, where the rest of us live, she's pretty damn petite.

Speaking about her now famous nude photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz, her sarky nature really came into play. "This is where I get really brave. That's what you want everybody to say when a naked photo of you goes viral, you want them to say: 'What a brave photo.' Like wow, thanks. Thank you." Cause having a little belly fat is apparently 'brave.' Seriously?!

Schumer then pointed to her stomach and said: "If you’re an actress and you have this area right here, you have to write your own stuff if you want to get it made.”

And thus Amy Schumer continues to be fucking hilarious, while making a great point about body image.
