A New Bisexual Dating Show Is Starting This October And We're Here For It
It's not often that a new E! Network show has us this excited, but a dating show that focuses on more than one type of relationship is exciting news.
Entitled The Bi Life, the show will focus on bisexuals exploring their relationships with men and women and opening up a conversation about bisexuality - a sexuality that's slowly being erased from mainstream pop culture.
It's time to give dating shows a fresh coat of paint! ?#TheBiLife, hosted by @CourtneyAct.
Starts October on E! pic.twitter.com/JbhrjuUK5a— E! UK & IRELAND (@EOnlineUK) September 16, 2018
The point of the show, going by the latest trailer, is to give the reality dating formula a fresh coat of paint and focus on more than just heterosexual relationships and dating experiences.
Not only will the show be breaking new ground, one of your favourite reality stars Courtney Act will be performing hosting duties. Act was a contestant on Australian Idol, RuPaul's Drag Race and won Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.
In the past shows like Love Island have come under fire for not being particularly inclusive of LGBTQ+ experiences, so The Bi Life will breathe new life into an outdated formula.
Bisexuality is one of the most underrepresented sexualities.
Famous bisexuals include Megan Fox, Billie Joe Armstrong, Anna Paquin, Snooki, Azealia Banks, and Drew Barrymore.
With such a steamy ad and sharp concept, we're expecting even more mischief and insight than anything Love Island or First Dates could offer.
The Bi Life will start in October on E!
