Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard about 'Planet Earth', the nature documentary series that blew us all away, but what you probably haven't heard of is 'Éire Fhiáin'. This is TG4's newest nature documentary that can be compared to the BBC's huge production.

What might surprise you is the sheer beauty that can be found all on the Emerald Isle. The show itself is a two-part special, which will highlight the amazing nature found on Ireland's Atlantic edge. The show which will kick off Wednesday at 9.30pm will feature, 'enchanting wildlife set against stunning land and seascapes under the moodiest skies in Europe.'

If the promo is anything to go by, expect drone-footage, modern camera techniques and an up close and personal account of Ireland's wildlife. The show will be presented by Eoin Warner and will feature two hour-long specials. The first show will be based in Kerry showcasing the county's unbelievable wildlife, while the second show will be based in Galway and Mayo.
