Watch: An Ireland's Got Talent Contestant Left Everyone An Emotional Wreck
Sundays usually leave the majority of us in a fragile state so if that's you then you might want to grab the tissues. Last night Ireland's Got Talent kicked off and amidst a string of hilarious dance acts and a mini Celine Dion was Evelyn Willaims.
Evelyn is 81-year-old great grandmother from Tallaght who was encouraged by her granddaughter and late husband to audition for the talent show. Evelyn's VT footage was already on the path to be an emotional audition as she confessed her late husband "used to love hear me sing".
The Dubliner's song choice 'Send In The Clowns' left judges Denise Van Outen and presenter Lucy Kennedy teary-eyed and judge Michelle Visage had no choice but to push that golden buzzer:
Although Evelyn though her voice wasn't the best, the viewers at home begged to differ and were just as emotional as the judges and audience:
One of the best versions of Send In The Clowns I’ve ever heard #GotTalentIRL. A song that needs to be song by an older person with a lifetime of experience behind them.
