These Garda Cars Have Got A Makeover For Pride And They're Fabulous
It's Pride month and everywhere we look there is an added splash of colour. The latest to get a pride makeover is these Garda cars. A photo posted on Twitter this morning shows a couple of Garda cars tastefully decorated with the rainbow colours. The caption to the image says "We are really looking forward to participating in Dublin Pride Parade on Saturday 29th June 2019, and we’ve had a bit of a makeover for the occasion!"

Dublin Pride Parade takes place on Saturday 29th June at 1 pm. The parade will assemble on O’Connell Street and Parnell Square. From there, the parade will turn on to Eden Quay and pass Liberty hall. The parade will cross the Liffey at Talbot Memorial Bridge and travel along City Quay, Lombard Street, Westland Row and end with a free outdoor event in Merrion Square. Over 7,000 people from over 150 different groups are expected for this year's Dublin Pride Parade.
There will also be a number of events in pubs and clubs around the city to mark the occasion. '90s pop sensations B*Witched will be performing at this year's Dublin Pride festival. B*Witched are the headlining act for Drag Queen powerhouses Victoria Secret and Davina Devine annual "Pride POP-Up Party" at Vicar Street, Saturday 29th June. Cheesy pop, 90s nostalgia and drag queens, sounds like the perfect way to celebrate pride.
Along with the Dublin Pride Garda cars, we can expect to see the return of the Dublin Bus pride bus.
