Haunting Of Hill House Has Been Renewed For A Second Season
The Netflix series that was hailed a "work of genius" by The King of horror himself, Stephen King, has been renewed for a second season by Netflix.
Haunting On Hill House was released at the end of last year and drove us all into insanity after watching the whole thing in less than 24 hours.. Well, at least I did.
The show followed the Crain family as they tried to piece together their past while growing up in Hill House, and how it has effected their lives as adults. From previous deaths in the house, hauntings and deaths of their own, the Crain family witnessed it all while living in Hill House for the short period of time that they did.
After the season ended, and they escaped the house, the family go through losing more as adults, still being haunted by the house after many years.
Netflix have now announced a second season of the show, but with a completely new story. The creators of the show felt as though they had put the Crain family through enough, closing their chapter for good after leaving them where all the creators agreed they should be.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Director Mike Flanagan said;
'As far as I've ever been concerned with this, the story of the Crain family is told. It's done.'
The new season will follow a haunting in a different house - The Haunting of Bly Manor.
You guessed it. The HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR, a new chapter in the Haunting series based on the works of Henry James, is coming in 2020. pic.twitter.com/nvhRBEfH2E

It's been reported the show has been signed for a Multi-year renewal - So we're expecting loads more sleepless nights.
