Ireland Had A Lot To Say About The Knock Documentary Last Night
Twitter has been in a frenzy over the RTÉ Knock documentary, 'Strange Occurrences In A Small Irish Village' that was broadcast last night.
The documentary focuses around the small village of Knock, Mayo where in 1879, fifteen villagers claim to witness a vision of the Virgin Mary. The village welcomes over one million pilgrims annually.
The documentary focuses on every aspect of the village from the rival religious merchandise shops to invalids seeing cures. However, there has been huge debate on Twitter over the religious documentary and some of the people featured. Religious and atheists alike have commented on the documentary and here's what they've had to say:
I just wanted #holywater #bottles to fly #poitin back to NY so nothing would leak or break in my suitcase. #RTE #StrangeOccurrences #Knock pic.twitter.com/tkj1qjUJla
