Pic: Is This What Americans Think 'Irish' Santa Looks Like?

Well, it seems like Americans have done it again and truly misinterpreted Ireland.

This image has surfaced on Reddit and truly takes the bacon for the most Irish stereotype ever produced. It features a clear depiction of Santa Clause however he's not dressed in his traditional red suit. This 'Irish' Santa is kitted in an emerald green suit and looks like a Santa-leprechaun-St.Patrick hybrid of some sort.

Not only that, but he seems to be holding St.Patricks' staff, as if Santa needs to fight a few snakes on his way in to Ireland. To top it all off, he's dressed in a traditional 'leprechaun' get up and holding what seems to be – a pot of gold.

Lest we forget children, Santa couldn't even think of leaving his lair without two golden Irish shamrock pins just so people can distinguish him from the 'American' Santa. What's next, depicting images of Santa riding with horse and trap? Or perhaps his reindeer's could do a performance of Riverdance?

Regardless, we're excited to see what the Yanks will do next.
