Liam Gallagher Announces Massive Outdoor Cork Gig In June

June is shaping up to be a huge month in Ireland for gigs and festivals. With an already long list, we're here to add one more to your catalogue, as well as another dent in your bank account.

Liam Gallagher has announced that he will be making his way across the channel to play for us one more time at the Irish Independent Park on June the 23rd.

The Oasis member has always been very fond of our little Isle, saying he is "over the Keith" to be back and playing in Cork this Summer.

Although there is absolutely no 'cats chance in hell' that Liam and his brother will be reuniting for a song or two, we'll be getting the closest thing to it this Summer, with both of the brothers playing in Ireland a week apart from each other. That counts as a reunion, doesn't it?

At least we can always rely on a yearly spat between the estranged brothers, giving us even less hope of them reuniting, but still being entertained in another form.

Noel will be playing Malahide castle on the 16th of June this Summer, with Doves, DMA's and Blossoms being confirmed to join him.

Tickets for Liam's show will be going on sale on Friday the 15th of February, with a price of 49.90 including booking fee.

Another gig that has been just announced for Cork this summer is another iconic 90s performer Lauryn Hill. She will be playing at Irish Independent Park on Wednesday, June 26th. Lauryn recently went on tour to mark 20 years since the release of her album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill". Tickets priced at €49.90 will go on sale this Friday, 15th February 15th from Ticketmaster.
