Scream Queens May Be Getting An Unexpected Reboot
It's been 3 years since Scream Queens first aired and it's been an emotional roller coaster for fans ever since.
The series was a huge hit at the beginning, with a star-studded cast, an unrealistic idea of an American College life, and of course the creepy murder vibes, that we all love deep down.
The very extra show, starring the queen of horror stories herself, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and Billie Lourd, (and Ariana Grande at one point) was cancelled last year after airing in 2015 on Fox. All though the show had quite a cult following, it didn't get picked up for a third season before being killed off by the station.
But fear not! Creator Ryan Murphy, who is responsible for many more of our all-time favourites, including American Horror Story, has made a hopeful comment on his Instagram, asking fans what they would like to see from Scream Queens if it makes a come-back and rises from the dead.
He asked fans who they would like to see back on the show, and wondered what their opinions were on a six episode season, or even if he was to make a movie-type come back with the Chanels.
He said:
"So many people recently have been asking me about rebooting or continuing Scream Queens (RIP, taken too soon). Emma, Billie, Lea and I have mused on it, but question: should it be a six episode limited? A catch up movie? Who should I bring back? Would love your thoughts. So many questions...."
Fans should be warned not to go too over-board with excitement, as it doesn't sound like they will making a come-back for a long amount of time. It seems they are just looking to wrap up some loose ends after been cut at their prime, way too soon.
Emma Roberts and Lea Michele both made comments on the Instagram post with some ominous support. Emma commented "Long Live Chanel" and Lea said, "Long Live Hester".
Ryan Murphy is also just after signing a deal with Netflix, which will give him a chance to create, and also bring back some of our all-time favourite tv series, filling our murder/supernatural TV show needs.
