The New Star Trek: Discovery Trailer Is Out Of This World

I think everyone was a little nervous about the new Star Trek Discovery trailer after the air date got pushed around so much, but lo and behold it actually looks great. This Netflix prequel takes place ten years before Captain Kirk or Spock, and has been described as "a new chapter in the Star Trek saga."

What excites us is the cinematic clips, new aliens, action-packed fight scenes and of course, new worlds to feast our eyes on. The series will feature 15 action-packed episodes, two more than was originally announced.

In this series we'll get to see Michelle Yeoh as Captain Georgiou, who commands the Starship Shenzou; Rainn Wilson as Trek conman Harry Mudd; Jason Isaacs as Captain Lorca, leader of the Starship Discovery;  and James Frain as Spock's father, Vulcan Sarek.

Whether you a Trekie or just like some good ol' Sci-Fi, we guarantee you'll enjoy this.
