We Have An Official Release Date For 'Stranger Things' Season 2
Excited? Stranger Things is returning for a second season and the official date has just been revealed! The Upside Down is not finished with Will and friends yet as NME have confirmed that the new season will hit Netflix on 27 October, just in time for Halloween.
The show's new season had been teased during the Super Bowl but it's great to now finally get a date set in stone so we can all informed loved ones of our unavailability.
This time around it seems the entire town of Hawkins is under threat from a giant spider like creature from the Upside Down. The writers have also revealed that there will be a lot more of the show based in the weird dimension, with Ross Duffer saying:
The plan in that second season is to get into more of those questions, like why there was only one monster and what the Upside Down is exactly.
We have all those answers and didn’t feel like they were necessary to answer this season.
It remains to be seen if the Ghostbusters costumes will be enough to save the lads from extermination!
