Watch: The Trailer For Disney's Dumbo Just Dropped And It's Emotional
We didn't expect to cry until we saw the beauty that is the Dumbo trailer.
Directed by the brilliant Tim Burton, who also directed the Alice in Wonderland series, Dumbo stars Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito.
The story is based on a baby elephant whose giant ears make him the joke of the circus. If we didn't already need a tissue, it looks like this Dumbo is set to be a much darker ride than its source material.
With that in mind and considering the 1941 version is a Disney masterpiece, the live action Dumbo looks incredibly unique. While sticking to the source material - fans will recognise moments like the giant neon elephant bubbles - this take on Dumbo feels less generic than other live-action Disney movies which is no doubt helped by Burton's dark tone.
