The Young Offenders' Lads Are Nominated For Some Very Prestigious Awards
The lads from Young Offenders have both been nominated for a very impressive, prestigious awards for their acting, more precisely, a comedy award, along with Chris Walley being nominated for one of the top acting awards in the world; an Oliver award, for his acting on the West End.
The Young Offenders, after having huge success with the movie, then having a hugely enjoyable season on BBC and RTÉ, and a Christmas Special that gave us all warm fuzzy feelings, have now started being nominated for awards for their hilarity.
The lads, Alex Murphy and Chris Walley have been nominated for Best Comedy Performance (Male) in Young Offenders for the Royal Television Awards 2019, and are up against some very impressive competition, with Samson Kayo for his role in Famalam, and Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith for Inside No. 9.
Chris Walley has also been nominated for Best Actor in A Supporting Role for his performance in Martin McDonagh's (Irish man who created 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri') play 'The Lieutenant of Inishmore' on the West End.

The lads have also been picked up for a second season of their hit show for BBC and RTÉ, the Young Offenders, which is set to be released this year, and I'm guessing it could be very soon seeing as filming was underway all the way back in September.

It's been just over a year since the last season made it's debut, and we're dying for the second to make it's way onto our screens. It's been rumoured that romance will be on the cards this season, as well as the return of all the main characters.
