Eir Announces They Will Take On 50 New Apprentices This Year
Eir have announced that they will be taking on 50 new apprentices to be part of their team this year, thanks to one of Europe's largest broadband roll-out schemes. Over the past three years, 116 apprentices have completed this programme and most of them are now in full-time positions.
Applicants must have completed the Leaving Certificate as well as have a full driver’s license to apply. The two years training will consist of on-the-job learning supported by a fully trained technician, along with the opportunity of full-time work straight after the two years of apprenticing.
Applications are open until September 3, and successful candidates will need to start this November to help bring fibre broadband into homes and businesses across the country.
Eir has one of Ireland’s leading technology implementation programmes and are looking for people from all over the country to fill these 50 spots.
Una Stafford, Managing Director of Eir Networks said:
As a uniquely Irish telecommunications company we have huge ambition for and commitment to Ireland and to our people. We’re aiming to find recruits from right across the country, Donegal through to Cork.
Successful applicants will work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, learning from a world-class team of experts. It is an opportunity to be part of one of the most important technology implementation programmes in our country.
