New Research Reveals Which Age Group Is Having The Most Sex
Are you on a romp rampage or have an above average sex life? Are you rarely getting jiggy with it? Now you can see how your sex life compares to the average for your age group. Research conducted at the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Reproduction, and Gender at Indiana University in the US has the answers.
According to the study in The Journal of Sex Research, people under the age of 30 are the most frequently sexually active. On average, under 30s are bumping uglies twice a week. That's 112 times each year. People aged 30 to 39 are slightly less likely to get down and dirty as they averaged at 1.6 times per week or 86 times per year. 40 to 49 year-olds are the least frequent to jump between sheets averaging just 69 times per year or 1.3 times each week.
The study also found some reasons people tend to become less sexually active as they get older. Physical and emotional health were stated as some of the major influences. Diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure were all mentioned in causing men problems when it comes to getting it up. The study also suggests that talking about your problems or seeking medical help can aide those having problems in the bedroom.
A total of 1,170 people took part in the study and they were interviewed twice by researchers ten years apart.
