Calling All Students, You Can Win A Year's Supply Of Food From Deliveroo
Food, glorious food...
Deliveroo has announced that this RAG Week season, the college club or society that raises the most money for charity will receive a Gold Card which means the lucky recipient will receive a years worth of free food from all of their favourite restaurants from the site.
RAG week traditions are usually discussed as being the party week of the college calendar year but the week actually exists to raise money for charities up and down the country. The society or club that manages to raise the most money will receive the coveted Deliveroo Gold Card and you won't be alone in the ranks.
Past patrons of the gold card include grime superstar Stormzy who was awarded the first gold card last year. Each month Deliveroo will provide the club or society €300 worth of free food and free deliveries over the course of a year.
Joe Groves at Deliveroo revealed why the company decided to give gold cards to students:
At Deliveroo we are always looking to recognise great achievements, something we feel RAG Weeks are all about. Whether you are raising money on a jailbreak to Kathmandu or taking part in an extreme fitness challenge, you are in with a chance of winning a much coveted Deliveroo Gold Card. Simply prove to us you have raised more money than anybody else and we will reward you with free Deliveroo for a year. Get raising, sharpish!
If you reckon your society is raising the most funds then get cracking on entering this competition. To enter your club and society simply email ragseason@deliveroo.com by the 20th of March with the amount you have raised and proof verifying the amount. The winner will be announced on the 29th March so get crackin'.
