Rejoice! The Sunny Weather Will Return, With Added Sun
Met Éireann have given us hope for the next week as the hottest week of the year so far is expected to hit.
To kick the week off, Met Éireann have issued a status yellow warning for most west, and southwest counties as a lot of rain is expected to pour up until 7pm this evening, but for the rest of the week its looking pretty clear.
Rain in many areas at first. Mainly dry weather in the east and west will extend further inland during the afternoon with some late sunshine. Maximum temperatures generally only 11 to 14 degrees, but a bit warmer in the east and southeast with temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees. pic.twitter.com/AJ6Hkv87C4

The week ahead is mostly dry with intervals of sunny spells, and temperatures reaching the low 20s, and evenings are going to continue to be dry and warm, with temperatures of 4-8 degrees. Thursday and Friday have a chance of storms, thunder and heavy showers, but should clear up just before the weekend, where it’s expected to go back to low to mid 20s, mostly dry, and calm, with a small chance of rain intervals through-out the day.
Early indications show that next week is going to stay warm and dry, with temperatures staying in the 20s, and maybe even reaching higher, although the forecast could change. Let’s hope it doesn’t and the start of summer officially kicks in!
