Junior Cert Students Freaking Out About The Irish Aural Is Pure Nostalgia
Yesterday's CSPE exam featured a question on 'National Toilet Day'and students hoped crap really wouldn't hit the fan during today's Irish exam. For ordinary and higher level, it was a mix of the aural and written while higher levels students had to wait around for a second paper later today - best of luck with that!
As per usual, the difficult to understand Donegal accent made an appearance and it wasn't the biggest challenge for students this time around - said no one ever:

Aimsir Chaite, the past tense as Gaeilge, appeared as question two and everyone in Ireland could hear a quiet "thank god":
I feel so blessed.. ceist 2 was aimsir chaite #JuniorCert #JuniorCert2018 pic.twitter.com/tIBsEvTthO

The band 'Squeaky Runners' appeared on the aural and reports are coming in that they are now more popular than the likes of One Direction and Ariana Grande.

It turns out Squeaky Runners was the name of the band of one of the aural characters':The usual grammar and punctuation mistakes were made, mixing French and Irish was my specialty, and like all things in life they'll be quickly forgotten about:
Sooooo in the OL Irish exam I was doing my letter and forgot how to say that the dog barked so I wrote 'duirt sé " bark"'
I wish I was joking... I'm not ? #juniorcert #JuniorCert2018— TJ (@TARAnnosaurus__) June 7, 2018
After learning Irish for the last 11 years of my life the only thing I can say is léigh anois go cúramach, ar do scrúdpháipéar, na treoracha agus na ceisteanna a ghabhann le Cuid A #JuniorCert
