Things You Should Just Never Put In A Text

In this, the era of the smartphone, including Whatsapp, Viber, Tinder as well as the good old text message... etc etc..... and with the screenshot so readily accessible there are certain things you should just never put in a text, for one reason or another...

Bitching

It doesn't matter how close you think you are to someone, if a screenshot is there to be utilised then in cases of bitching it's your own fault if you get caught out at a later date. I shall be filing it in my digital filing cabinet...aka Dropbox

Secrets

Its quite simple to simply screenshot someone's deepest darkest secret and file that away too. Even something that is text in confidence is quite easy to doctor, just delete the "please keep this to yourself" part and forward to half of your contacts...simples

Birthday wishes to best friends

It happens more and more these days that people text for birthdays, or Zuckerberg informs you when it's their big day of the year and you post it on their Facebook page. Well I'm sorry but if it's a close friend then you shouldn't be only texting them, ok it's fine as an accompaniment to a night out or a present etc but if a text is the only thing you send...then shame on you.

Yerp...if you're naive enough to think that everyone will keep these to themselves then...well, you're very naive. Although the aren't text based per say, they can be sent through all the apps that we currently use, whatsapp, viber, snapchat etc and can be easily screenshot. Even when your done what that happy relationship there will still be a copy in existence. Just remember that...

Break ups

Whether you're male/female/bi/gay/straight/transgendered or of any ethnic background....if you use the text message to break up with someone you're a universal prick!

Sarcasm or tone

Just remember that unless its obvious this medium doesn't allow for tone...so if your're just being slightly sarcastic...it may be picked up differently...as has happened me....on many occasion. Or you may be trying to be completely serious and someone will think you're being sarcastic...which has also happened me on many occasion.. either way..yeah, you should be aware of that..

JUST NO...funerals, friend break ups etc etc... say it to their faces
