You Can Watch Ophelia Travel Across Ireland Live Here
There's a whole pile of weather happening today and being so very Irish there are a lot people engrossed in sitting watching the radar footage of the storm Ophelia travel across the country.
A website called Windy.com allows you to track Ophelia's path live in real time to give you an indication of when it may hit your area. You can watch live by below. It's both oddly fascinating and worrying at the same time.
Meanwhile people across the country are being advised to stay indoors throughout the day and to secure all garden furniture and bins. Colleges and schools are of course closed everywhere with Bus Éireann services cancelled until at least 2pm, and Dublin Bus services will also be cancelled from 10am to at least 7pm.
Dunnes Stores shops are closed around Ireland while various shopping centres and other public and private business offices are also not opening.
The ESB are asking everyone not to phone them if your power goes off but do get in touch if you come across any fallen lines etc. It's incredibly important not to touch the lines though as there is a strong possibility that they are still live.
Stay safe everyone.
