Here's How To Deactivate Your Facebook Account

Disclaimer: this will just deactivate your account not delete it, so you can always re-activate it if you'd like to.
1. Mosey on over to Facebook
2. Click the account tab on the top right corner of your page
3. Select Settings
4. Click Security in the left column
5. Choose deactivate my account and follow the steps to confirm
If you do decide to deactivate your account, your page won't be searchable or visible to people still on Facebook. If you want to come back to the dark side, all you have to do is sign in with your email and password – simples.
