A DIT Graduate Attempted To Rob A Canadian Bank??
DIT Graduate Patrick Shannon has been charged for attempting to rob a Canadian bank, after the lunatic crashed his car into the bank's front doors.
The 29 year-old Irishman who has been living in Canada, attempted to pull an Ocean's 11 and break into the vault in Regina, the central Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Shannon actually worked in the bar 'Shannon's Pub and Grill' on the other site of the car park – which is why he probably got the bright idea.
The mastermind walked through the broken glass smashed by his car and attempted to break into the vault with a pellet gun, before fleeing from the scene. He was eventually caught by police officers only three blocks away from the scene, and of course resisted arrest.
Shannon was later charged with breaking and entering, resisting arrest and two counts of assaulting a police officer and maybe the added charge of being a dope.
Well, at least he can say he attempted to rob a bank for street cred.
