As the battle between Storm Emma and the public transport infrastructure of Ireland rages on, I think this photo makes it perfectly clear who currently has the upper hand.
Alternative bus services for rail customers from Pearse Stn to Bray due to flooding:
Departs Pearse Stn 13.00 & 13.30 will serve stations or adjacent to all stations except Dalkey.

Consequently, what with the fact that we are now reportedly being told not to leave our houses for any reason after 4pm today, or risk instant icy death, Dublin Bus have announced that none of their services are to run tomorrow, Friday 2nd March. This includes all Friday night/ Saturday morning Nitelink services.
They will assess the situation tomorrow as to whether services should presume on Saturday - or whether we have entered the eternal nuclear winter that we all fear that will put an end to Dublin Bus, and all known life, as we know it.
