An Irish Teen Has Made Forbes’ '30 Under 30' List For 2018
What was the highlight of your teenage years? Your first disco, the big Leaving Cert holiday in Crete, passing the actual Leaving Cert? Or maybe it was making the Forbes’ '30 Under 30' list? No? Just this fella then.
Shane Curran (17) who is still in school, has made the acclaimed '30 Under 30' list.
The Dublin native is founder and CEO of qCrypt, a company that promises next-generation post-quantum security solutions to businesses.
Shane won BT Young Scientist of the year 2017 for his qCrypt project and as cited in Forbes, Shane is expecting $5 million in revenue in 2018.
I’m honored to be a part of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe Technology list. Congrats to the other list members — onwards and upwards! I’m starting to feel old now... https://t.co/4Al7QFvViV

Congratulation lads! Massive achievement.
We suddenly feel very unaccomplished...
