Former Love Island Contestant, Sophie Gradon, Found Dead At 32
According to a post by her boyfriend, the former Love Island contestant Sophie Gradon has died.
He confirmed her passing in a Facebook post saying that he is "absolutely devastated" at the 32-year old's tragic passing.
She was found in her apartment and Northumbrian police were called to the scene. They said in a statement that "At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year old woman was found deceased."
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner."
She appeared in the second season of Love Island in 2016, the year before it truly broke through and became the phenomenon that it is now.
The model had previously been crowned Miss Great Britain in 2009, with the competition Tweeting their condolences upon hearing the news.

In amongst the tributes paid to Ms. Gradon were many from her co-stars from the 2016 season of Love Island.
