This Heartbroken Irish Couple Are Live-Tweeting Their Trip For An Abortion Today
And Irish woman and her husband are currently documenting their trip to England, for an abortion, on both Twitter and Snapchat today. Their child has a fatal foetal abnormality called 'Edward's Syndrome' which means that after birth it would not survive anything more than a few hours.
The couple already have one child with a condition which has meant that its mother has had to give up her job to become a full-time carer. Despite the risk of the condition occurring again, they had been hopeful that everything would turn out ok.
They write:
