This Week's Weather Is Set To Be Wet, Windy And Wild
It's the summer time and the weather is fine... Lies! It's going to be wet, windy and wild out there and we're ten minutes away from booking a cheap Ryanair flight and sleeping on a hot beach somewhere. Now Met Éireann is reporting that the week ahead will be "unsettled, with an Atlantic regime dominating" - eh, okay! Here's what to expect from Irish weather this week:
Tonight
Today's rain will clear and it will become largely dry overnight with just isolated showers. Patches of fog will cover the country with some light breezes from the West. Lows of 9 to 11 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday
Atlantic coastal counties will experience down pours throughout the day with the lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in strengthening south to southeast winds.
Wednesday
This week's Irish weather personality of wet, windy and wild will come to a head today. Rain will be widespread throughout the morning with heavy bursts and strong, gale forces winds across coastal areas. Temperatures will range 16 to 20 degrees.
Thursday
Hallelujah! Thursday morning will be full of bright sunny spells before raining all over our parades with some showers later in the day with longer spells of rain during the evening. Maximum temperatures 16 to 19 degrees.
Friday
It's set to be a day of blustery, wet and cool showers with longer spells of rain coming in from the Atlantic. Highs of 15 to 18 degrees.
