Melania Wears 'I Really Don't Care' Jacket To Visit Detained Children In Texas
Melania Trump stepped out in Texas today, sporting a long length rain jacket from last year's Zara collection that read the words 'I really don't care, do u?' It seems Melania has mixed up what a 'bold fashion statement' actually means, and took it a little too seriously.
Melania's itinerary for the day was to visit Texas and talk to number of people who have been affected by her husband's separation policy that saw children being taken away from their families and detained in cages, a policy that Melania herself pushed to end, and to thank the people who are working to get families back together. But it wouldn't be the Trump way to let things go unnoticed, which led to Melania making this tone-deaf mistake by wearing a jacket stating that she doesn't actually care.
Whether this was a hidden message or not, Melania has been given quite a lot of backlash since her trip to Texas, and many people can't believe that she could make such a horrible 'mistake'.
Melania Trump visited the child migrants, who are separated from their parents & put in a cage, wearing a ‘I really don't care' jacket is disgraceful & she should be ashamed of herself. Children are facing extreme difficulties because of Donald Trump’s new immigration laws.

Her Hubby, Donald Trump, came to her rescue to make a very forward, harsh statement on her behalf to clear the air.
“I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?” written on the back of Melania’s jacket, refers to the Fake News Media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!

Trump, one of the biggest supporters of fake news, claimed that Melania did in fact know what she was wearing, and was showing the media, rather than the hundreds of detained children, that she really doesn't care.
To contradict that statement, the first lady's spokeswoman took to her twitter to make a statement on Melania's behalf, claiming that Melania in fact did not intentionally wear a jacket that would offend the entire world.
Today’s visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly. If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids - rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe - we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children. #SheCares #ItsJustAJacket

Either way, our theory is, with a woman such as Melania, who has been so involved with the fashion industry, before and after her husband's presidential campaign, the one thing that she definitely has an eye for is style. With clothing being one of the only things that you can plan and control while being in the lime-light, it's hard to believe that Melania would wear such a jacket to an important press call without any of her entourage telling her what would happen if she was to step out into a pool of media heads. Besides, seeing the first lady in an angsty $39 printed jacket is a shock in itself.
Melania Trump had the audacity to say there’s no hidden message behind the jacket that was worn today, but out of all fucking days you chose today to wear a jacket that says “i really don’t care do u?” Fuck you and that piece of shit you call your husband.

What the hell kind of grown ass woman wears a jacket meant for an angry teenager who is trying to piss of her parents or her teachers to go take pictures with kidnapped refugee children?Melania Trump is a callous immature joke.Remember when we had first ladies who gave a shit?ffs

I'm always loathe to criticise BBC but reporting that Melania Trump visited a centre where "children are being cared for after being separated from their parents"
They're being DETAINED IN CAGES.— sianushka (@sianushka) June 22, 2018
While Melania was making a statement with her jacket, the White House cancelled a visit to one of the detention centres, where children are being held in cages, and staged a photo-op in a church-ran shelter instead before jetting off back to Washington. So, maybe the jacket was a swift distraction from the fact the the Trump administration are avoiding facing what they have caused to young children and their families. Or maybe she really does not care.
