This Year J1 Students Visiting NYC Will Have One Big Home Comfort
It's weeks away but we're sure every J1 student in the country is already gearing up for their summer abroad. What we all miss when we're away is our home comforts, stock up on the tea bags, and there's one shop we almost can't live without - Penneys.
Well forgot about packing those suitcases 'cause Penneys is opening up a giant store in New York's second largest borough, Brooklyn.
Located in Kings Plaza Shopping Center, the store will open on the 16th of May at 1pm, just in time for your arrival. Expected to be one of the biggest stores in America, the store will include clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children as well as home wear and beauty products so you'll never be far away from your favourite bits.
A Primark already exists in Staten Island and New Jersey but with a large number of J1ers and Irish people working and living Brooklyn every year, it's the ideal spot. If you're not visiting NYC then you're nearest Penneys might be Massachusetts, Boston or Philadelphia.
