Drama students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas School in Florida gave an emotional performance, singing ‘Seasons of Love’ from Rent the musical after their teacher was awarded an 'Excellence in Theatre Education' award.

The most dramatic thing that happened during the night was when Robert DeNiro came on stage to present an award.
When presenting the award, DeNiro walked up to the microphone and says “I’m going to say one thing; F**k Trump!”
This statement was welcomed by a massive cheer from the crowd, with a few worried faces in the background. The room was filled with clapping and cheering, and before it could die down, DeNiro says: “It’s no longer down with Trump, it’s F**uck Trump.”
His political stance caused him to be censored from the American broadcasting of the award presentation, but Australian TV’s kept it going and we were able to see the crowds full reaction to the controversial statement.
