Anti-Choice Groups Hang Graphic Posters Outside Ireland's Most Famous College
Trinity College Dublin, One of the most prominent pro-choice campuses in Ireland has been targeted by anti-choice activists twice in the last week.
The group of activists campaigned outside the Front Arch of Trinity with posters depicting scenes of aborted fetuses and wearing 'Reveal' jumpers. Now, for the second time this week, Trinity’s students are being targeted on the Nassau St entrance to Trinity. The organisation is stating that by reinforcing the Eight Amendment Ireland is turning its eye to Ireland's next child abuse scandal:
Last week TCDSU warned students of anti-choice protesters stationed outside the Front Arch with signs displaying disturbing imagery:
*TRIGGER WARNING* there are anti-choice protestors stationed across the road from Front Arch with signs displaying disturbing imagery. They are also wearing t shirts and jumpers which say Repeal. images have potential to upset

The University Times spoke with the group outside the Front Arch and Jean Engela from the Director of the Irish Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform had this to say:
In our culture, we’re proposing in Ireland, to execute the innocent babies of rape victims and call that reproductive choice
Despite her use of sensationalist language, Engela felt students were “quite rational and civilised” and willing to engage in discussion about being anti-choice. The TCD campus is pro-choice after TCD students voted on a mandate to choose the college's stance on the issue, becoming one of the first colleges in Ireland to do so. Last weeks students from the Strike 4 Repeal organisation dropped Repeal banners across the campus and attended the Strike Assembly outside the Dáil.
