Here's The Exact Moment Today The World Will Change As We Know It
Today is one of the biggest days in history - the day Donald Trump, real estate mogul, reality TV star and universally-hated gobshite is sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America. So let's cut to the chase... the Trump inauguration: where and when is it airing in Ireland?
That's a good question my friend, because after all the exact moment Donald Trump signs on the dotted line is when the world as we know it will change. The leader of the free world will soon be a man who has never been a politician before or held office. He'll soon be a man who openly sexually harasses women. He'll soon be a man who has no idea how to apply fake tan.
-sigh- let's just get it over with. Here's when and where shit is going down:
1.30pm GMT: Donald and Melania Trump attend service at St. John's Church
2:30pm GMT: President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama welcome the Trumps to the White House
2:45pm GMT: Obamas host a coffee and tea reception for the Trumps
3:30pm GMT: Trumps, Obamas leave White House for U.S. Capitol
4:30pm GMT: Swearing-in ceremony
Donald Trump will be sworn in as president and Mike Pence will be sworn in as vice president in a ceremony on the west front of the United States Capitol. President Donald Trump will deliver his inaugural address.
5:30 pm GMT: The Obamas depart by helicopter from East Front
5:54 pm GMT: President's Room signing ceremony aka exact moment the world changes forever
6:08 pm GMT: Luncheon
7:35 pm GMT: Review of the troops
8pm GMT: Inaugural Parade
Following the ceremony, Trump and Pence, with their families, will lead a parade from the Capitol building to the White House.
