Met Éireann Weather Warning Issued For 7 Counties This Weekend
We had a good run, but it looks like rain is returning to Ireland with a vengeance this weekend.
Met Éireann have released two separate rainfall weather which cover seven counties in total. The first yellow warning is for Offaly, Limerick and Tippearary where rainfall of between 30 and 40mm is expected.
The second status yellow warning is in place for Galway, Mayo, Clare & Kerry where between 40 and 50mm of rainfall is being forecast.
Metalert has also warned of spot flooding as well as strong winds across the west of the country. It could be good weekend for a Netflix marathon in bed.
Spot flooding and relatively strong gusts this evening, tomorrow across Munster and Connacht. Care need coasts, care on roads. ??️?️??
