This Amazing Irish Dancer On Tik Tok Has Blown Up, And Taught Racists A Few Things
Yesterday, the Irish internet was introduced for the first time to the brilliant dance stylings of Morgan Elizabeth. According to her Twitter bio, Morgan is a future educator from Virginia Commonwealth University who also has a grá from some Irish dance.
She tik toks some of her dancing and a video of her dancing with a Megan Thee Stallion backing track totally blew up yesterday.

This is next level Irish dancing and Morgan received a lot of love for it.

Of course, it being 2020 and all, we can no longer have good things. A certain racist corner of Twitter wasn't long in piping up after the video started being shared yesterday. However, Morgan was quick to put the racists in their place.
As Ireland’s Embassy to the United States, we can tell you how fortunate we feel to have such talent here devote themselves to Irish dancing. You are better than good at what you do. And are a credit to both our nation & yours. Lean ort!

The video was even shared on Instagram by Beyonce and Solange's mom Tina.
It's a massive crossover moment for Irish dancing and we thank Morgan for getting us there (and silencing the haters in the process). Here's some soft shoe to get you through Tuesday.
