Katy Perry Announces New Album

Katy Perry has unveiled the follow-up to 2010's Teenage Dream. It will be called Prism and will be released on the 22nd of October this year. Perry, in starkling usual fashion, revealed this via a giant golden truck.

It will of course be no easy feat to follow-up the album which heralded Perry's biggest hits to date, including "Teenage Dream," "Firework," "California Girls," "ET" and "Last Friday Night," but she sure isn't getting any younger so watch out for further details on the first single and tracklisting in weeks/months to come.
