2013 brought us many things: Justin Bieber lost it, One Direction and The Wanted achieved world domination, Khloe and Lamar filed for divorce, Kris and Bruce Jenner separated and Ariana Grande literally came up out of the wood work. And there are too many stories to discuss in Soapland. But this year, more than any other year, the strangest couples began to emerge. Couples we would never imagine. From Marc Anthony and Chloe Green to Leighton Meester and Adam Brody (where the hell has he been?), it was all just oh so random.

1. JESSICA LOWNDES & TOM EVANS

How did these two even know each other? Where did they even meet? Well, it didn’t last! Thom Evans is now said to be linked with former MIC star Caggie Dunlop.

2. LEIGHTON MEESTER & ADAM BRODY

This was a dream in TV heaven as two beautiful people come together in the form ofAdam Brody and Leighton Meester. But…it must be asked….where the hell has Adam Brody been? I havn’t seen him in God knows how long. But, how we loved himself andBenjamin McKenzie in The O.C. A wedding may be on the cards as now there are rumors of the two being engaged! Remember all those years ago when Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson were together? I wonder what happened there….

3. MARC ANTHONY & CHLOE GREEN

Before Marc Anthony, all I knew about Chloe Green was that she used to date Ollie Locke on MIC, but not anymore. Marc has certainly put her on the map. Bit awkward seeing those photos of the couple and J-Lo and Philip Green before the two got divorced. Ah well, Jennifer and Marc have both certainly moved on and to much younger models (Chloe is 22, Casper is 25).

4. KENDALL JENNER & HARRY STYLES

I know this hasn’t been confirmed and it may be a publicity stunt set up by momagerKris Jenner but it is still so shocking. Kendall Jenner is so innocent and Harry is so….not! We just couldn’t even begin to think of what they would even talk about…good hairstyles maybe? If this does turn out to be true it could be one of the most fascinating celeb couples of 2013.

5. RITA ORA & CALVIN HARRIS

Rita Ora and Calvin Harris are certainly Great Britain’s new music power couple. They seem very happy and in love and I wouldn’t be surprised if we heard wedding bells very soon….

6. SPENCER MATTHEWS & STEPHANIE PRATT

Just when we thought MIC’s Spencer Matthews had done the rounds in London he ventured Stateside. He started dating his ‘idol‘ Spencer Pratt’s sister Stephanie. The couple dated in the summer of 2013 and filmed while living together in London. ABSOLUTE SHOCKER: Spencer cheated on her so their romance ended…will he ever learn…nah we doubt it.

7. NATHAN SYKES & ARIANA GRANDE

The new teen romance sees The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes get with superstar Ariana Grande. The two seem to be very happy as they jet set around the place together and look very cute. We haven’t been this excited about a couple since Justin and Selena.
