With the rise in popularity of the Wild Atlantic Way and, more recently, Ireland's Ancient East, more and more of us are realising that holidays in Ireland can often be just a enjoyable as going abroad. Indeed we've a plethora of posts on the topic, including a bucket list of all the places in this fair isle that we'd love to visit. Well, there are a bunch of lads from Cavan who are going the whole hog this weekend, as they set out to visit every single county in Ireland.
The 32 Honda Challenge will see a group of 32 from Bailieborough in Co Cavan drive their Honda 50, 70 and 90s around Ireland to raise funds for BUMBLEance, the Official Children's National Ambulance Service of Ireland.
On Thursday they will set out from the east Cavan town down through Leinster, before crossing into Munster on Day Two.

As Richie Kavanagh once put it, the little Honda 50 boy, they were all the craic. And going by this trip they quite clearly still are. The money raised will help BUMBLEance finance a new children's ambulance, that is set to cost around €250,000. People can donate €4 by texting BUZZ to 50300 or by visiting here and if anyone out there is part of a Honda Club and would like to take part in the journey, they can email [email protected].
Not a bad auld way to spend your bank holiday weekend!
