Today on the College Roundup we're focusing on the hugely anticipated event: DCU Beg Borrow Steal.
This year's event, which starts tomorrow February 2, involves teams of two people travelling to Rome from Dublin, with no money whatsoever. Last year saw 100 teams travel all the way to Berlin and raise an unbelievable €50,000 for charity.
How does the event work? Students have to make it to their final destination in Rome, over the course of two days completely based on the charity of strangers, airlines, buses, trains and ferries. They have two checkpoints along the way which won't be revealed to them until they're about to set off.
The groups have been raising money over the past few months and will also be during their trip, with all funds raised going towards the Irish Cancer Society in association with Movember. To keep up to date with how the lads are doing you can follow the hashtag, #BegBorrowStealDCU.
Take a peek at last year's Aftermovie, it looks pretty epic.
