There was a staple group of lads that pretty much every Irish girl fancied in the early 00s. They were singers, in our favourite TV shows but most importantly in KISS magazine.

They would normally be featured in some sexy photo shoot wearing a sleeveless shirt, some flared jeans and gazing longingly into the distance. To put it simply, they were rides. A lot of the people on this list have grown even better with age, which makes writing this not feel as creepy.

Let's take a trip down memory lane and gawk at the lads we were completely in love with.

That hair, that smile, that voice. He was a teen heartthrob in the making, let's never forget 'Beautiful Soul' and all the amazing things it did for us.

2. Chad Michael Murray

Chad became famous for One Tree Hill and for those long wistful stares. His dirty blonde hair and basketball skills made us fall in love.

3. Leonardo DiCaprio

Loved him then, love him now.

4. Jesse Metcalfe

Jesse is still a fox today and his eyebrow game is on point. He was the sexy gardener in Desperate Housewives and the beautiful jock in John Tucker Must Die.

Also known as Ryan from The O.C., he was the reason most of us watched the show in the first place.

Again, still another beauty we love now. Ashton burst onto the scene in That 70s Show and all those shite teen movies.

Another reason we watched Laguna Beach was for this lad. His tanned skin and perfect smile meant he was everyone's dream boy.

Once Justified hit the shelves we were hooked. He's still a beaut today even without the shaved head.

Ah Kian, this Sligo-born lad always contended with Nicky for the 'best-looking' spot in Westlife. Regardless, after seeing them live 45 times, you're bound to fancy at least one of them.
