There are some musicians that speak to us on a new level.
Maybe they were the one thing getting you through that teenage angst or the break-up with your serious long-term boyfriend of three months. Regardless, there were some artists who were the hottest thing since the sun back in the day, and now, are no where to be heard of.
Let's take a trip back to the mid-2000s, to some of the bands and singers who rocked our world – and have subsequently disappeared off the face of the earth since then.
1. Kate Nash
Kate Nash was literally the coolest girl around and didn't give a shite about anything. Every teenage girl in 2009 wanted to be her and sing in that conversational-type voice. Now, she's touring with her all-female band.

2. The Corrs
Ever since yer man went off the rails with conspiracy theories, the Corrs have taken a serious backseat in the charts. However, now the Corrs are touring again with their sixth studio album.
3. Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield
Both of them respectively has some unreal tunes. Natasha's song became iconic as the theme song of the MTV reality show, 'The Hills', while Daniel's falsetto voice gave us chills. Too bad they're both unknown these days. This year, he appeared in the West End musical The War Of The Worlds as The Artilleryman. While Natasha has been doing some songwriting for others recently.

4. Vanessa Carlton
She became a household name thanks to the film, 'White Chicks' but she hasn't been heard of ever since. She's still touring and has released an album recently – still no 'A Thousand Miles.'
5. K T Tunstall
In 2004 K T Tunstall was the biggest name around, we miss her. These days, she co-wrote three songs for the film 'Bad Moms.'

6. The Ordinary Boys
These lads had one good song called 'Boy Will Be Boys', and then yer man Preston got with yer wan Chantelle – bad choices. The lads did a tour last year but not much since.
7. Orson
They had that class song 'No Tomorrow' but where are they now? The lads are broken up now – sad times.

8. The Fray
They had that whopper music video and 2006 was their year. They're on tour now, but not near as famous as they once were.
9. Metro Station
Metro Station were an American band who apparently still exist? Fun fact: the lead singer is Miley Cyrus' brother – who knew? The lads broke up for a while but recently toured around the US.

10. Mika
This curly headed singer had such serious tunes and no doubt featured in your primary school CD mix-tape. We've no idea where he is to be honest.
11. Finally...Razorlight

They had that song 'America' which was played to death on the radio, we're happy they're not around. The guys have been broken up since 2014.
