So this week, the whole world fell in love with Taylor Swift. She took on Apple, one of the largest corporations in the world, and asked that they pay their artists for the first three months of their free streaming service because everyone's art is worth something. And you know what? It worked. Apple agreed to pay all of the artists whose music they would be streaming, which is a huge step for musicians everywhere who have been denied full compensation for their work. Since we're on the topic of our girl Swifty, we thought we'd look at a few of the reasons we've all fallen in love with her this year.
1) She's the queen of Tumblr.
2) Her relationship with her cats runs deeper than any of our actual relationships.
3) Bad Blood was one of the most bad ass videos depicting women kicking ass.

4) And somehow got Kendrick Lamar, one of the most well respected rappers in the world, to feature on Bad Blood.
5) Her weird ability to look ridiculously good every time she leaves the gym.
Seriously though, NO ONE looks like this leaving the gym!
6) The fact that she's credited as a writer on every single song she's ever released.
7) That she had the most insanely cool 25th birthday party any of us could ever imagine. When Beyonce is hanging out, you know you've arrived.

8) She replies to her fans when they post their problems to her on instagram with thoughtful and heartwarming advice.
9) She hosted The 1989 Secret Sessions for her most dedicated fans, who she found whilst stalking them online, and invited them to her homes to listen to her new album.
