We all know that Christmas day is mostly spent in front of the TV watching whatever Christmas movie comes up next. Everyday I thank god that we have Netflix for moments like these, so I don't have to watch the outdated terrible Christmas movies that only my mother wants to watch.
This year Netflix has blessed us with a full list of Christmas themed movies, along with some really cool releases just in time for the holidays. Whether it's the classics of Christmas, Christmas specials, or a completely un-Christmas-related movie you're looking to binge on on the day, Netflix has a wide range to choose from.
- The Holiday. Obviously we're going to start with the BEST Christmas movie of all time; The Holiday. This love story between two pairs of star crossed lovers gives you the most tingly, lovey feeling (and not only because Jude Law makes an appearance.)
2. Love, Actually.
Let's just get all of the clear ones out of the way so we can move on. So, yes, the star-studded movie, Love Actually, has made its way to Netflix for the Holiday season, Finally! Now we can watch it all year round without needing an excuse to cry over Emma Thompson heartbreaking realisation that sends us all in to emotional turmoil.

3. Jack Frost.
As heartbreaking as it is, this movie is an all-time classic that I always try to block from my memory, but once a year it has to be done. The 1998 movie really hot homes the real meaning of Christmas - Family. However cringey that may be.
4. The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina - Christmas Special.

This show is definitely one of the best things to come from Netflix this year and to give us a Christmas Special has only made it even better! Sabrina, her friends and her family all get into trouble in this episode, of course, and try their hardest to make everything right again before Christmas.
5. Matilda.
This is one of my all-time favourite movies, so of course when Christmas comes around I'm sticking it on. Thank God for Netflix for fulfilling all of my Christmas needs. This magical, family movie is perfect to watch while you slip into a food coma in front of your TV.

6. Bird Box.
This brand new Netflix original starring Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson looks like the kind of action filled movie I want to watch on Christmas day. The creepy trailer really draws you in and the idea of an invisible being controlling peoples mind freaks me out enough to sell it.
7. Mowgli.
Another Netflix original movie that has been released this month is Mowgli. Starring Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch and Christian Bale, this movie is of course short-listed as a Christmas day feature.

8. Jumangi.
CLEARLY we're going to watch this family classic starring Robin Williams that will inspire us toplaysome boardgames ourselves afterwards.
9. Dumplin.

This Netflix original is the most funny/wholesome thing I have watched so far this year. This movies follows Dumplin, Willodean Dixon, and her unlikely comrades as they try to take down the institution that is her mothers heart and soul, Beauty competitions. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Danielle MacDonald, along with a full Dolly Parton soundtrack, this feel-good movie is perfect for Christmas Day, if you haven't already watched it.
